Fall Retreat 2009
Friday, September 4th, 2009Pray Indiana
Tuesday, August 11th, 2009Indiana Cru believes that the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ will simply not happen at universities all over Indiana this Fall without a work of God. Because of this we will be praying continuously for three days from Friday August 21 at 8 am until Monday August 24 at 8 am. Please join with us as we ask God to continue to build His Kingdom here and continue to use it to impact the world.
If you want to pray with us, click the link below. For every half hour time slot that you can join us in prayer please put in your name and city/school you live near.
If you’re like me, you probably need a little more direction than that to spend a half hour or more in prayer. So here’s some things:
- Students would have soft hearts this year, be teachable and respond to the Gospel
- For favor with the administrations and open doors on campuses across the state
- People of peace to be found on every campus statewide
- Knowledge for local churches, volunteers and staff about how to engage students
- The resources needed to put the Gospel within arm’s reach of every student in the state of Indiana
- Radical, Saul to Paul conversions across Indiana
But those are still general ideas. If you’re a student or excited about students knowing Jesus, click on the title above and leave a comment to let everyone know the specific needs and requests that you are trusting God for in your part of the state.

Every Student Sent
Monday, January 19th, 2009No matter what profession God leads you to pursue, your calling as a Christian is the same: created in the image of God, we are called to represent Him in the world. ESS 2009 will showcase Christ-centered laborers from all sorts of career fields who are living out their purpose with Christ-centered priorities.
We invite you to a weekend where we’ll look at how our views: of God, of your relationship with Christ, of the world and of people, shape the ways we go about our lives. So take a weekend to get away from the everyday, pause and connect with God. You can hit play again after the weekend.
Every Student Sent 2009. Created in his image, representing him in the world
This weekend we want you to push the pause button in your life and engage a little more directly in the journey God has you on to find your call in the universal mission. Register Now.
Butler CRU
Wednesday, January 14th, 2009The Well is back this Friday night! Join us as we open God’s Word to talk about New Year’s resolutions and God’s resolution for us. This will be a great talk for a new year. Invite your friends to come and join us in the basement of Common Ground. Connversvine will be leading worship on Friday, so come, spend some time worshipping, opening God’s Word and connecting with other Butler students. It’s going to be a cold night, so we’ll have plenty of warm drinks. We hope to see you there.
CLT is back as well. Next Wednesday Christian Leadership Training will kick off with a split Men’s/Women’s Time. The women will be meeting from 8-9:30 at the CRU House, next to BUPD, and the guys will be meeting at a location to be determined. Plan to join us as we talk about being Men and Women of purity and how to understand God’s plan for us as we seek after Him. There will be more details about these times on Friday night. We look forward to seeing you at CLT next Wednesday night.
Valpo Weekly Meeting
Monday, January 12th, 2009Hey everyone, I hope you had a really wonderful Christmas break and the semester is off to a good start! We will be having our first CRU of the semester tonight at 9pm in the Brown and Gold room on the second floor of the union. It should be pretty chill—some music and testimonies about the Campus Crusade Christmas Conference! So come, relax, say hi, and worship with us. We look forward to seeing you!
Correction: Women’s Christmas Party at Butler
Friday, December 5th, 2008Hey Ladies,
Don’t forget we are having a Christmas party *from 7:30-9:00* (which is a correction to the evite sent out) Tuesday Dec 9 at the Cru house. So you don’t wander in the cold, the address is 519 W Hampton Dr beside BUPD.
Come relax as we decorate and of course eat cookies, enjoy some games, and celebrate Christmas. I hope to see you there!
CLT Tonight
Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008First, I know the last CLT was like drinking from a firehose. So I’ve put the notes from it (and all the previous CLT’s) up on my blog, here
Audio should be up shortly.
Also, our second to last CLT is this week! Ever feel like the character in Romans 7 – I do what I don’t want, and I don’t do what I want? The Christian life is about following Jesus – about obedience to him. How do we do it?
This week: The Holy Spirit in our lives.
And this week we’re sticking in one passage. So bring your Bible and notebook and come worship and learn from God’s word with us! It’s tonight (Wednesday), 9:15, JH141, as always.
